Filinet Banner Rotator

If you're looking to earn extra revenue from your site, the Filinet.com banner ad rotator is a good way to do it. It costs nothing to sign up and you earn commission for referrals. With CitySlide.com it's just a matter of signing up via your site and selecting which pages you would like the ads to show on. Once you earn at least $25 in commissions, you'll receive a check by mail.

NOTE: The integrated feature is only available to US and Canadian residents. However, International users are still able to place Filinet Banners on their site using a different method, as listed below.

1. Signing Up and Inserting Banner Ads (US and Canada)

The Filinet integrated feature is available to US residents who have a registered SSN or FEI number or to Canadian residents.

How to Set Up Filinet Banners using the Integrated Feature:

1. Click the 'Edit Site' tab, then 'Power Tools'.
2. Click 'Filinet Banner Rotator'.
3. Click on 'Sign Up/View Reports'.
4. A new window will open. Fill in the form and click 'Submit'. Canadian residents can enter 'N/A' by 'SSN or FEI #'.

5. Return to your website window
6. Select the format of your banners. You can choose to have banner ads appear in the head area (ex. just below your page Title and Subtitle) or footer area (ex. below your page content but above your footer if you have one). For all your ads, you can select an alignment of Left, Center or Right.
7. Put a check by the pages you would like your banner ads to appear on and click 'Save'. To select all pages, put a check by 'Select All'.

 

2. Signing Up and Inserting Banner Ads (International)

The integrated feature is only available to US residents who have a registered SSN or FEI number or Canadian residents. International users must email international@filinet.com to get an account. They will then provide you with code to insert the banner ads. You can insert the ads 2 ways:

Insert Code on Individual Pages

On each page and at any location you wish, you can copy and paste in the code you are given using the HTML editor.

Use the Footer Tool to Insert Code

You can copy and paste in the code once and then select which pages you would like the ads to appear on.

1. Click the 'Edit Site' tab, then 'Page Footer'.
2. Make sure you're using the HTML editor (look directly above the editor), Insert your code in the text editor and then put a check by the pages you would like it to appear on. You can edit the footer just like your regular text on your site. When you're done, click on either of the two 'Save' buttons on the page. If you want your footer to appear on all pages, check the box by 'Show Footer'.

IMPORTANT: If you add new pages to your site, by default they will not have the footer on them. You need to go back to the Footer editing page and put a check by the new page and save.

 

3. Tracking Payouts (US and Canada)

You must be signed up with Filinet before being able to track your payouts.

1. Click the 'Edit Site' tab, then 'Power Tools'.
2. Click 'Filinet Banner Rotator'.
3. Click 'Sign Up/View Reports'.

 

4. Tracking Payouts (International)

Go to http://filinet.com and log in with the information provided by Filinet.

Most questions can be answered on the Filinet Website's FAQ section. Below are some questions specific to our builder's integration with Filinet.

Is Filinet only for US based customers?

No. Your website's integration is only for US or Canadian customers, however non-US and non-Canadian customers can still sign up with Filinet. Click here to learn more.

Filinet's FAQs indicate that you must have at least 1000 unique visitors each month. Does this mean I can't apply if I don't reach this goal?

The 1000 unique visitors requirement is waived for all CitySlide.com members.

Does it cost me anything to sign up with Filinet?

No. It's free to sign up.

Can I change which banners show up on my site?

To match with your website design, by default all ads from Filinet are the standard banner ad size of 438x60. The ad that appears is determined by Filinet.
